Nando's West Lakes

Nando's Australia confirmed by email (Oct 2026) that its chicken is Halal in every state and territory except Queensland. The exception is the ribs, which are not Halal certified in Western Australia, New South Wales and South Australia. Nando's bastings are also Halal. Both grills are shared with non-Halal items. Bacon is cooked on the flat top grill, which is also used for chicken breasts and tenders in burgers, wraps, pitas, paella and salads. Ribs are cooked on the open flame-grill, which is also used for quarter, half and whole chickens and grilled tenders. You can ask staff to cook burger, wrap, pita, paella and salad chicken on the flame-grill instead, but that grill is still shared with ribs.
